We think friendships are very important. Young or old, we all need friends. More than 75 years of research have even shown that people with true friends around them turn out to be happy and confident people. That's why we encourage children to make friends, to play together, to share and make up their quarrels. We have seen the most wonderful (first) friendships grow at Partou. To us, friendship is so important that we organise a Partou Friends Week every year. During this week, which is filled with activities, we celebrate friendship.
Although we have branches almost everywhere in the Netherlands, we intentionally opt for close and familiar contact. Our members know exactly what your wishes are and what your situation at home is. This way, the child in his turn experiences the benefits of our large organisation. The educational members of staff who look after your son or daughter are, for instance, not also responsible for the paperwork, contracts, personnel affairs and IT matters. All their attention is focused on your child. And like yourself, we’re extremely proud when your child reaches another milestone or overcomes a fear. With our app we show you how your child’s day went, enabling you to join in your child’s day.
Extensive range of activities
We do our best to offer your child an exciting and fun time in our daycare. At Partou, all children have lots of fun thanks to our extensive and often surprising range of activities. Apart from daily activities such as exercise, making music, playing outside and being creative, we also make sure children of all ages are given exceptional challenges. From a classical concert for babies and tumble judo for toddlers to a djembe workshop for preschoolers and spraying graffiti for teenagers. Visiting an animal farm or staying on a campsite all summer with daycare staff are also possible. All of this is done together with educationalists, educational organisations, sports providers, musical teachers and cultural organisations. This way, your child will experience something new every day and we contribute to their development.
The quality of childcare
We want the best for your child, which is why we only employ the very best and friendliest members of staff. Our people are well-trained, very experienced and motivated. And that’s not all. We continue to invest in training and workshops for our staff. The advantage of our big organisation is that we also have a lot of specialist knowledge about, for instance, children’s development. When it comes to our activities, we work together with various experts such as Staatbosbeheer and UNICEF.
We do it together
And, of course, we would never forget about the biggest expert, namely you! We want parents to tell us about all the important matters that will ensure your child receives the best childcare. So, please, share your wishes and needs with us, preferably in a personal meeting but you can, of course, also use our app. Also, you can always voice your opinion via our continuous customer satisfaction surveys.
Our executive board
Jeanine Lemmens (managing director) and Marcello Iacono (financial director) commit themselves to the quality and continuity of KidsFoundation/Partou, day in, day out. They share their passion for this profession with approximately 9,000 colleagues, who together make sure that the children at our day nurseries and out-of-school care centres can develop optimally as well as have lots of fun.
Collaborating with Partou
We’re always open to collaboration. This would concern a collaboration in Integral Child Centre or with schools for after school care, for instance. We also like to follow initiatives from the local authorities such as a summer school in Amsterdam Zuidoost. And, of course, we're always looking for opportunities to extend our network of childcare branches.
