National final in Tuschinski
Various out-of-school care centres from all Partou regions will take part and make a film about friendship together. The first screening of this film will be at the Pathé Leidsche Rijn cinema in Utrecht and we will also represent our film at the national final at the Pathé Tuschinski cinema in Amsterdam. We are committed to getting our message across, also on the silver screen. Because we at Partou believe that everyone has a right to have friends.
Why we have entered
Every year, we are the only childcare organisation to enter the UNICEF Children's Rights Film Festival, which gets children aged 8 and over to think about children’s rights by making a short film about it. By having children take part, they not only learn about children’s rights, they are also doing something creative and using their ability to empathise. It is all a lot of fun and they learn a great deal from it.
