1. We help children with to make friends
At our daycare, your child learns how to play together, share, argue, and make up again. These are social skills that your child will need later to make and keep friends. This, in turn, contributes to a happy and confident life. We focus throughout the year on encouraging interactions between the children. For example, we do this by making music together, exploring nature, or simply letting the children play together freely.
2. We help your child develop
Daycare is much more than an educational and social playground where children practice for the "adult world." We also challenge them motorically, creatively, and cognitively. We organize various activities that contribute to your child's development. For instance, we have a special Baby Basics program, where babies learn to move in a playful way. Music is also a key theme at our locations. Did you know that making music helps children improve their vocabulary and pronunciation?
3. We are proud of your child
When your child turns four, it's a cause for celebration, but unfortunately, it also means your son or daughter will be leaving us... We are just as involved with the children as parents are. We feel proud when your child says their first word. And when they give us a big hug, we experience a small moment of happiness too. If they’re hurt, we comfort them. When they finally go to school and say goodbye to the group, we feel both proud and a bit sad. We’ve watched your child grow and develop alongside you as a parent, and we’ll miss them.
4. We do activities that you might not do
Children embark on an adventurous journey with their peers, filled with fun and positive, new experiences. In addition to free play, we offer unique activity programs at all of our locations—different from home and always special. There are Partou-wide themes and activities, but each location also has its own program that they can personalize. Think of external workshops, self-created projects, and home-made lesson kits.
We also go outside as often as possible to play, search for bugs, or build sandcastles. This is not only fun and healthy, but also a great way for children to burn off some energy.
5. We help prepare for school
We also play an important role in preparing children for primary school. For example, independence is an important skill when your child first starts school. That’s why we often focus on things like going to the bathroom by themselves, putting on their own jacket, or daring to take their turn in a group. We also talk a lot with your child about school. These small things make the first few weeks of primary school much easier.
6. We let you experience the day
And if you're feeling a bit anxious about sending your little one to daycare... We have a special app that lets you follow along with your child's day. In addition to the essential personal contact with us, you will receive photos and stories about your child through the app. As a parent, you'll see what experiences your child is having, which friends they are playing with, and the fun they’re having. For babies, we often provide updates on how long they’ve slept, how much milk they've drunk, and how many dirty diapers they've had. This way, you get a good sense of what's happening at our daycare.
Finding a good and suitable daycare
When you're pregnant, a lot of information comes your way, especially when it comes to choosing a daycare center. In addition to wanting the daycare to be close to home and to have kind staff, there are other factors to consider. To help guide you, we've put together a checklist for daycare centers. This list will help you make the right choice, so you can send your child off to daycare with confidence.
