Are there still waiting lists?
Yes, but this varies per location. It depends on various factors, such as how busy a location is, the number of new registrations, cancellations from other parents and staffing levels.
When will I be placed on the waiting list?
In some regions, demand for childcare is currently very high. This means that there may not be any places available immediately. In that case, we will place you on the waiting list. We will contact you as soon as a spot becomes available.
Do waiting times for childcare vary depending on the type of childcare?
The factors that influence the waiting list are the same for all types of childcare: after school care (bso), daycare and preschool.
Please note: in the case of after school care, availability sometimes depends on your child's primary school. We only pick up children from schools with which we collaborate. The number of places per school is sometimes limited.
Do waiting times for childcare vary by region?
Yes, waiting times can vary greatly by region. In some areas, demand exceeds the number of available places. In other regions, a spot may be available immediately. The length of the waiting time therefore depends mainly on the location.
How long are the waiting times and when will there be a place available?
We understand that you would like to know when your child can start. Unfortunately, it is difficult to give a clear answer in advance. The length of the waiting list does not indicate exactly when a place will become available. This is because the situation is constantly changing. New registrations, cancellations and staff planning all have an impact on this. As soon as a place becomes available, we will notify you or make you an offer. If you would like to change anything in your registration, such as the number of days or the desired start date, please contact us.
What happens after I register via the website?
After you register, we will check whether there is immediate availability. If so, you will receive a digital agreement for childcare. If there is no availability at that time, your child will be placed on the waiting list. Again, we cannot give a fixed waiting time. Waiting times can vary from week to week.
Who will contact me when a place becomes available?
As soon as a place becomes available for your child, the location planner will contact you. You will then receive an email with all the information about the childcare options.
How can I increase my chances of getting a place?
If you are flexible in your requirements, you are more likely to get a place sooner. For example, by specifying different locations or choosing days when it is quieter, such as Wednesdays or Fridays. You can register your child at multiple locations to increase your chances of getting a place.
What should I do if I no longer need childcare?
Please let us know if you no longer wish to be on the waiting list. This will enable us to keep it up to date. You can easily notify us of this via the contact form on mijnpartou.nl.
Are there alternatives in case of long waiting times?
If the waiting time for childcare is too long, we are happy to help you explore other options. You can contact us via the contact form on mijnpartou.nl. We will respond with more information within three working days.
Who gets priority?
Parents who already use our childcare services get priority for new registrations. Partou employees also get priority. This doesn't always mean there's a spot available on the start date you want. We do our best to help everyone as much as we can.
